Data Deletion Instructions

You have the right to request deletion of the personal information Naiyuan Mart holds about you. This page explains exactly how to make that request, what we delete, and what we may need to retain for legal reasons.
How to request deletion
Choose whichever is easiest for you:
Email us
Send your request to hello@naiyuanmart.com with the subject line "Data deletion request".
WhatsApp
Message us on WhatsApp at +86 156 0301 0790 with the word "DELETE" followed by the email or phone number associated with your account.
What to include in your request
- Your full name
- The email address and/or WhatsApp number you used with us
- Any project reference numbers if you remember them
- A short confirmation that you want your data deleted
What gets deleted
Deleted within 30 days:
- Your contact details (name, email, WhatsApp, company)
- Project records and order history
- Client portal access and any magic links
- WhatsApp message history on our side
- Uploaded documents (receipts, product photos, files)
- Newsletter and marketing preferences
What we may need to keep
Retained for legal and accounting obligations:
- Tax and invoice records (typically 5–7 years, as required by Chinese and Nigerian tax law)
- Anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering records where applicable
- Records relevant to ongoing or threatened legal proceedings
Any retained records are kept in restricted archives and are not used for marketing or communication.
Timeline
We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive a final confirmation once the deletion is complete.
Third-party services
We use third-party tools (email delivery, WhatsApp Business API, cloud hosting). Where your data is present in those systems, we will initiate deletion with them as part of your request. Some residual copies may persist in their backups for a short period per their own retention policies.
